Required Documents

  • Valid Passport: With at least six months validity beyond the intended stay.
  • Visa Application Form: Duly completed and signed.
  • Two Passport-Size Photos: Recent, color photographs with a white background.
  • Cover Letter: Explaining the purpose of travel and intended length of stay.
  • Proof of Accommodation: Hotel reservation or invitation letter from a host.
  • Proof of Financial Means: Bank statement or other evidence of sufficient funds to support the stay.
  • Invitation Letter (if applicable): From a host or sponsor in Zimbabwe.
  • Business Registration Certificate (if applicable): For business visa applicants.
  • Letter from Employer (if applicable): For work visa applicants.
  • Visa Fee: As applicable for the visa type and nationality.

Application Procedures

  1. Online Application: Visit the Zimbabwe e-Visa website (https://evisa.zimimmigration.co.zw/) and create an account. Complete the online visa application form and upload the required documents.
  2. Submit Application: After reviewing the application, submit it online and pay the visa fee using a credit or debit card.
  3. Processing: The Zimbabwe Immigration Department will process the application within the specified timeline.
  4. Visa Approval: If approved, the e-Visa will be issued electronically and sent to the applicant’s email address.
  5. Print Visa: Print the e-Visa and present it at the port of entry into Zimbabwe.

  • Tourist Visa: Processed within 2-3 business days.
  • Business Visa: Processed within 5-7 business days.

  • Transit Visa: Processed within 24 hours.
