Visa Process for the Faroe Islands

Visa Types

The Faroe Islands, an autonomous territory within the Kingdom of Denmark, has its own visa policy. Visitors from most countries do not require a visa for stays of up to 90 days. However, citizens of certain countries do need to obtain a visa.

Required Documents

To apply for a Faroe Islands visa, you will need the following documents:

• A valid passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining
• A completed visa application form
• Two recent passport-sized photographs
• Proof of accommodation in the Faroe Islands
• Proof of financial means to support yourself during your stay
• Travel insurance policy
• For business visas: a letter of invitation from a Faroese company
