Visa Process Guide for Tokelau

There is currently no visa process for Tokelau.

As of 2023, Tokelau does not issue visas to foreign visitors. Instead, all visitors are granted a Visitor Permit upon arrival, which allows them to stay for a period of up to 31 days.

Required Documents for Visitor Permit:

• A valid passport with at least 6 months remaining validity
• Proof of onward travel (e.g., a return ticket or onward flight reservation)
• Sufficient funds to cover the duration of your stay

Application Procedure:

There is no formal application process for a Visitor Permit. Visitors simply present their passport and proof of onward travel upon arrival at the Tokelau airport or seaport.

Fees:

There is no fee for a Visitor Permit.

Timelines:

Visitor Permits are issued upon arrival and are valid for up to 31 days. Extensions may be granted in exceptional circumstances.
