- Valid passport with at least six months validity beyond intended departure date
- Completed Visa Application Form
- Proof of accommodation (hotel reservation or letter of invitation)
- Proof of onward travel (flight itinerary)
- Proof of financial means (bank statement, credit card statement)
- Passport-sized photograph
Work Permit
- Valid passport
- Completed Work Permit Application Form
- Letter of Employment from a registered employer in the British Virgin Islands
- Proof of qualifications and experience
- Police clearance certificate
- Medical certificate
Study Permit
- Valid passport
- Completed Study Permit Application Form
- Letter of Acceptance from an accredited educational institution in the British Virgin Islands
- Proof of financial means
- Passport-sized photograph
Residence Permit
- Valid passport
- Completed Residence Permit Application Form
- Proof of income or other means of support
- Proof of accommodation
- Police clearance certificate
- Medical certificate
Application Procedures
Visitor's Visa
- Apply online through the British Virgin Islands Immigration Department website (https://bvi.gov.vg/immigration-department)
- Or, submit the application form and supporting documents to the British Virgin Islands Consulate or Embassy in your home country
Work Permit, Study Permit, Residence Permit
- Submit the application form and supporting documents to the Immigration Department in Road Town, Tortola
Fees
- Visitor's Visa: $50
- Work Permit: $100-$500 (depending on occupation)
- Study Permit: $50
- Residence Permit: $100-$500 (depending on length of stay)

Additional Notes
- All applications must be submitted in English.
- Biometrics (fingerprints and photograph) may be required as part of the application process.
