Visa Process for Micronesia
Visa Types
- Tourist Visa: For stays of up to 30 days for tourism purposes.
- Business Visa: For stays of up to 90 days for business activities.
- Employment Visa: For stays of more than 90 days for employment purposes.
- Dependent Visa: For spouses, children, or other dependents of visa holders.
Required Documents
For Tourist and Business Visas:
- Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended stay
- Completed visa application form
- Two passport-sized photographs
- Proof of sufficient financial means to support the stay (bank statements, credit card statements)
- Itinerary or proof of onward travel arrangements
- For Business Visas: Letter of invitation from the company in Micronesia
For Employment Visas:
- In addition to the above documents:
- Employment contract
- Work permit issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs
- Medical certificate
Application Procedures
Online Application:
- Visit the Micronesian Embassy or Consulate website in your country.
- Download the visa application form and fill it out completely.
- Submit the form along with the required documents via email or online portal.
In-Person Application:
- Visit the Micronesian Embassy or Consulate in person.
- Obtain a visa application form and fill it out.
- Submit the form along with the required documents and the appropriate visa fee.

- Tourist Visa: $50
- Business Visa: $100
- Employment Visa: $150
- Dependent Visa: $50
Timelines
- Online Applications: Processing time can take up to 10 business days.
- In-Person Applications: Processing time can take up to 5 business days.
- Urgent Applications: Expedited processing is available for an additional fee.
